Dads vs Lads match
The annual Dads vs Lads match made a nice start to our pre-season warm-up, and, the weather was actually nice!! With the dads keen to display their lacrosse prowess, they were the first to score, but after a close game - where they were slightly outnumbered in the final quarter, the game finished a draw.
Thanks to everyone who made the day a big success, especially to Kari for great refereeing.
A selection of photos are below, and so you can identify those 'retro' players - here are their shirt numbers:

5 - Lawrie (Cameron's dad)

18 - Coach Rolo

20 - Rick (Sam's dad)

U14s 6-a-side tournament at Cheadle Hulme
To see how the 'new' team would fare against the rest of the U14 community, Stockport entered the 6-a-side tournament with (mainly) our 'old' U12s. With our three new Coaches, and lots of enthusiasm, the team did really well.
With two wins and two losses in the round robins, they'd done enough for a place in the semi-final, at their first tournament!
Whilst they lost the semi-final, it was a brilliant result for the whole team (and they did lose to the ultimate winners of the tournament...)
Well Done - long may it continue!

U10s tournament at Cheadle Hulme
With just enough boys for the 8-a-side tournament, we took on the 4 opposing teams and came out pretty well. In fact, we won!!
Getting off to a great start with a 13-0 win over Poynton, the U10s finished the day undefeated.
Sadly no medals, as it was just a friendly, but well played to everyone involved - especially as there were no spare players for subs.
A special well done to William - who experienced match play for the first time today, and really got stuck in.
